Tea Party Birthday Invitations – The Beginner Tea Party is a great idea for a fun afternoon or other special occasions. Invite some of your closest friends, daughters or the whole neighborhood. Both mothers and daughters will have a great time!
Invitations: Send invitations at least three weeks earlier so that parents can save the date. Be sure to wear date, time and place as well as a note that tells all participants to dress your favorite Princess/jewelry/tiara!
Decor: Visit your favorite party shop for some great decorative ideas. You can find castle murals, which can be glued to the wall and immediately turn a boring dining room into a beautiful castle. You can also find tablecloths, napkins and cardboard plates. I found a couple of great princess Teacups in the dollar Shop – these were a great success and used them for all our tea!
Food: Instead of a cake I went to the local bakery and made gigantic tiara sugar biscuits. If you are in the kitchen, you can create your own. In the handicraft shop we found several beautiful glazes as well as sprinkles and candies for decoration. It is a fun and interactive activity and has a good taste. Use pink Kool-Aid for the Princess tee!
Activity: Here are some funny ideas for each princess:
Decorate a magic wand/Tiara: Craft shops have heard tons of ideas with a princess theme. Glitter Glue is a great success to customize all the elements.
Beads: Provide each of the girls with a bag that has string and beads so that everyone can make a necklace to take home!
Scavenger hunt: Hidden theme Treasures of the castle in your house/yard. Give the girls clues where they can find their treasure.
There are many ways to have a perfect tea party – but most importantly – have fun!
